The partnership between SITECO and the Bern University of Applied Sciences, in collaboration with a leading Ghanaian engineering school and the Arthur Waser Foundation in Lucerne, aims at the further development of technical vocational education and training in Ghana.
On the one hand, the industry connection of the school is to be strengthened. On the other hand, the initiative of individual teachers with regard to solartechnics is to be transferred into a training course "Solartechniker" as a specialization for electricians according to the Swiss dual model.
Similar to the SITECO project in Indonesia and Ethiopia, sectoral associations are to be established as well as a platform for cooperation between schools and industry. With this initiative, national educational reforms are being implemented and implemented in Ghana. And thus created a model for the future.
